Mark Jahad

Mark Jahad

Mark wrestled four years at North Carolina State University in the 184-197lb division from 2005-2009. Mark was a member of the 2007 ACC Championship team at NCSU and finished 4th in the ACC Championship his senior season. Prior to NC State, Mark wrestled 3 years at Cary High School under Hall of Fame coach Jerry Winterton. He won the State Championship at 189 pounds as a senior in 2004-05 with a final record of 56-1 and was listed as one of the top senior 189-pounders in the country by Wrestling USA. He finished third in the state as a junior in 2003-04 with a 51-5 record, winning the regional championship en route to the state tournament. Mark was also a three-time all-conference selection. He finished with a three-year record of 155-22.

 

 

 

Dr. Fred Jahad

Dr. Fred Jahad

Dr. Jahad has coached wrestling all across the U.S. for the past 30 years. A Native of Iran, he won the National Championship in his native country before coming to the U.S. Dr. Jahad attended the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where he earned All-America honors his senior season. He also won the SEC championship twice during his college campaign. After graduation from UT, Dr. Jahad was the Assistant Coach at several Universities including N.C. State, Duke, Georgia, Clemson, and Purdue. Most recently, Dr. Jahad coached at the High School level for Chatham County school’s Jordan Matthews High School and Northwood High School. He has also coached at other High Schools in the area including Wake Forest High School, Southern Durham High School, Durham School of the Arts, and Fuquay-Varina High School.

 

 

Patrick Riley

Patrick Riley

Patrick Riley wrestled four years at The University of Virginia in the 149-157lb division from 2006-2010. Patrick was a member of the 2010 ACC Championship Wrestling team at the University of Virginia. Prior to UVA, Patrick wrestled 4 years at Bernards High School in New Jersey. In his senior season at Bernards, he earned 4th place in the state of NJ at 140lbs and set the most wins in a single season finishing with a record of 42-3. Also in his senior year, Patrick didn’t give up a point in 35 consecutive matches and pinned every one of his opponents in the first period. He was a multiple county, district, and regional champion throughout his 4-year high school career. He set a record for the most career wins in school history with 118, finishing with a 118-20 career record. Patrick lettered four years in wrestling, and also lettered in baseball and football. He earned 2nd team all-state in football and 3rd team all-state in baseball. Patrick is the head coach for our Advanced/High School wrestlers.

 

 

Mike Lines

Mike Lines

Mike Lines wrestled at Clayton High School in Clayton, NC from 2012-2016. During his time at Clayton, he was a 4-year varsity wrestler and he won the Conference Championship all four years. In his Senior year, he won a 4A Regional Championship and was a NCHSAA State Runner-Up in the 182lb division. He finished his senior season with a record of 51-2. He finished with a High School career record of 133-36. Mike also coaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at TFTC Academy where he is currently training and pursuing a Mixed Martial Arts career. He is competitively competing in wrestling, MMA events, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu competitions. Mike is the head coach for our Youth (K-8) wrestlers.
